Kaiser Franz Joseph Wreck
The Austro-Hungarian protected cruiser Kaiser Franz Joseph I sank in a storm on 17 October 1919 at the entrance to the Bay of Kotor. Blue Planet places the 104 m wreck on the north-eastern side of Cape Oštra, in Croatian waters, lying on its port side partly buried in mud between 28 and 44 m. The hull is draped with old nets. Parts were salvaged in 1922 and 1967.
