Fernsteinsee (zárva 2027 májusáig / closed until May 2027)
Temporarily closed (the hotel is shut until May 2027). The Fernsteinsee lies just below the Fernpass road, beside the castle hotel that owns it. The lake is about 550 m long, up to 17 m deep, spring-fed and very clear, with a small island and a bottom of delicate plant growth. Divers mostly report trout and char. It is usually the first, check dive of a Fernpass weekend before the smaller Samaranger See.
