Pedrinha (marine reserve)
Marine reserve. A reef less than a mile from Formosa beach with a platform at 6–10 m, a drop to about 20 m on the north side and over 40 m on the south slope, three caves and a wide crack rising 17 m towards the top. Swallowtail seaperch, dusky grouper, barred hogfish and pelagic schools; devil rays occasionally. The position is approximate (the official guide publishes no coordinates) and is for orientation only.
