Playa del Cabrón (El Cabrón Marine Reserve)

Playa del Cabrón, inside the El Cabrón marine reserve, is a sheltered bay with an easy shore entry down to about 12 m. El Cabrón (Arinaga) is Gran Canaria's only marine reserve, between Playa de las Cruces and Risco Verde in the Agüimes municipality; it was listed as an EU Site of Special Scientific Interest in December 2001. The bay is used for discover dives, training dives and refreshers, and visibility rarely drops below 15 m. Position estimated from the nearest beach or harbour, for orientation only.
