El Puertito (Adeje) – green turtles
A small sheltered bay about ten minutes by boat from Puerto Colón; boats anchor inside at roughly 6 m. Sand leads to large seagrass meadows with cuttlefish, seahorses and flatfish, while along the drop-off octopus, trumpetfish, spider crabs and nudibranchs multiply; the resident green turtles are the highlight and swim among the divers. Over 50 species were counted by the centre. Visibility can be low.
