La Bombilla (arches)
A small fishing hamlet on the west coast, in the area of the marine reserve, with a varied volcanic seabed. The arches of La Bombilla are named by a local centre as a highlight of the island, alongside the cavern of La Catedral; rays, moray eels, trumpetfish, groupers and bream live here, and barracuda and jacks can often be seen within metres of the coast. Depth range is indicative (centre states typical dives of 10–30 m).
