La Caleta (Adeje)
A tongue of rock in front of the La Caleta district, close to the port to the north-west, which slopes under water to 9 m; the drop-off takes you to about 18 m over a sandy bottom, and the dive is usually a drift because there is current. At the end of the platform a big school of grunts and jacks fills the area with colour, and under the ledge there are often stingrays or angel sharks, along with trumpetfish, red mullet, nudibranchs and morays.
