Jezero Barbora (Oldřichov u Teplic)
Flooded lignite-mine pit near Teplice that is widely used for training sport divers; a dive training centre with a compressor, rooms and a classroom stands on the shore. Depth figures conflict (about 40 m in the tourist guide, 60 m in the dive database). Underwater you find a caisson at 9 m, training platforms at 6 and 22 m, a sunken van at 7-8 m and deeper objects such as a kayak at 46 m and a boat at 52 m. Surface water is murky, clearer below 15-20 m, and cold at depth.
