Kimon M
German-built cargo ship (1952, about 105 m) that struck Abu Nuhas on 12 December 1978 carrying lentils, hence the nickname 'lentil wreck'. Wreckage starts near the reef edge in a few metres of water and the hull lies on its side down to about 27–32 m. Soft corals and batfish are typical.
