Le Lion de Mer
A rocky islet in the bay of Saint-Raphaël and the town's classic boat dive, with mooring buoys for dive boats. You can always find shelter by moving around the rocks, and dives can be adapted to every level by limiting depth (shallow at the buoys, deeper towards 45 m). The Saint-Raphaël tourist office notes that groupers are particularly protected along this coast thanks to the Cap Roux marine reserve.
