Katharinenhof (Fehmarn)

The site at the end of the Fischerweg in Katharinenhof, on Fehmarn's east coast, is probably the island's best-known shore dive and gets busy in summer. You enter over pebbles and stones and can reach about 7 m. The seabed alternates between algae, sand patches, mussel banks, seagrass and kelp, with medium to large boulders overgrown with mussels. Flatfish, cod, garfish, goldsinny wrasse, gobies and pipefish are seen, along with blue mussel colonies, crabs and starfish.

Tiefe: 0–7 m
