Gamat Bay
A small bay between two rocky points on Penida's west coast, with a shallow coral plateau at 6–8 m at the back and a slope leading to a wall that drops to around 40 m at the mouth. Rich hard and soft corals, bommies and gorgonians shelter turtles, leaf fish and nudibranchs; marble rays, batfish schools and, in season, Mola Mola appear in the deeper, more current-exposed part.
depth: 6–40 m
