Manta Bay
A series of shallow linked bays on Penida's west coast in front of Angel's Billabong, where mantas come in to feed on plankton pushed over the reef by the swell. It is closer to Toyapakeh and more sheltered than Manta Point, with a maximum depth of about 12 m, gullies and swim-throughs, and occasional bamboo and nurse sharks. It is also the main manta snorkelling spot, so expect boats.
