Manta Point
Off Nusa Penida's exposed south-west coast, below towering limestone cliffs, mantas visit rocky cleaning stations almost every day of the year, and several at once are common. The action happens at shallow depth over large rocks and a plateau, with swim-throughs to explore; bamboo sharks and blue-spotted rays are regular too. Current is usually weak, but swell and surge can be heavy and the water is often cold.
