Secret Bay
A shallow, muddy bay at Gilimanuk on Bali's far west coast, fed by the nutrient-rich channel between Java and Bali, and one of the island's best-known muck sites. There is little coral, but dragonets, robust ghost pipefish, seahorses, frogfish, Banggai cardinalfish, bobbit worms, imperial and sarong shrimps, cuttlefish and octopus reward patient divers. The water here is often cooler than elsewhere in Bali.
