Silale

Two muck dives on the Ambon City side of the bay. The first is a dark sandy-rubble slope where orange, black and grey frogfish are common, along with large stonefish and scorpionfish, wonderpus, seahorses, razorfish schools and Papuan cuttlefish around the mooring lines. The steeper second slope further west is coloured by yellow and green elephant-ear sponges and hosts giant frogfish, leaf scorpionfish in several colours, cowfish, black ornate ghost pipefish, nudibranchs, flying gurnards deeper and mantis shrimps in the shallows.
