Goa Hatta
On the north shore of Pulau Hatta a sinkhole about 5 m wide opens on the reef top and runs down some 4 m into an arch that exits on the outer wall. The swim-through is lined with gorgonian fans, and orangutan crabs live in the bubble coral near the exit. The wall below drops far beyond recreational depth, decorated with barrel sponges, sea fans, leather corals and tubastrea; eagle rays, midnight snappers, giant clams and hawksbill turtles are seen here.
