Yellow Wall

Yellow Wall runs along the east side of Nusa Kode, south of Rinca, and takes its name from the yellow soft corals and crinoids that cover it. The cold upwelling water feeds a huge variety of feather stars and sea cucumbers, many uncommon nudibranchs and special shrimps, including the Coleman shrimp on fire urchins. The shallows swarm with fairy basslets, clown triggerfish patrol the face, and whitetip reef sharks and green turtles pass by; cracks hold sleeping fish and lobsters at night.
