Deep Turbo
Deep Turbo lies off the north-east side of Gili Trawangan, in the channel towards Gili Meno. Coral-covered sea mounts and ridges rise from a sandy bottom at around 30 m, with huge gorgonian fans, overhangs and small caves. Garden eels and blue-spotted rays cover the sand, while whitetip and blacktip reef sharks, batfish, redtooth triggerfish, barracuda and the occasional eagle ray move around the mounds. Pygmy seahorses live on some of the fans.
