Fushi Kandu
Channel on the north-eastern rim of Laamu between inhabited Maabaidhoo and the uninhabited island of Fushi, regarded as the atoll's top dive site. On the incoming tide grey reef sharks, whitetip reef sharks and eagle rays gather at the mouth of the channel, alongside napoleon wrasse, tuna, barracuda and large schools of reef fish.
