Golešnica (Torpedo Boat 76T)

One of eight Austro-Hungarian 74T-class torpedo boats built in Trieste and Rijeka in 1913–14, 76T fought in the First World War, later served the Kingdom of SCS, the Italian navy and finally the Yugoslav navy as the border-patrol boat Golešnica. It was sunk as a gunnery target in 1959 and now lies on its port side on sand at about 35 m in Žanjic bay near Mamula. The 57.8 m hull makes it one of the larger military wrecks at the bay entrance.
