Teshio Maru
Japanese army cargo ship (about 114 m) strafed and bombed on 30 March 1944 while fleeing before Operation Desecrate One; beached on the reef, she later slid off and now lies on her starboard side along the reef slope in the western lagoon. Penetration needs wreck training and may meet live ammunition. Wrecks are war graves: do not touch, move or take anything – removing artefacts is illegal.
