Batu Rufus
Batu Rufus is named after a large limestone rock on the west side of Rufus Island, close to Piaynemo. The dive usually starts in a sheltered lagoon with a shallow swim-through at about 5 m, then follows steep walls with giant barrel sponges and sea fans. Napoleon wrasse, bumphead parrotfish and schooling fusiliers are common, and pygmy seahorses hide on the fans. Currents are mild to medium.
