Chicken Reef
Chicken Reef is a submerged seamount just east of Kri, often compared to Cape Kri for fish variety. Coral cover is rich from about 3 m down to 30 m, and the frequent current brings in fusiliers, jacks and reef sharks. The name comes from an early exploration dive by Raja Ampat pioneer Max Ammer. Note that another site with the same name exists inside the Gam-Waigeo lagoon.
