Kaleidoscope
Kaleidoscope sits at the western tip of Pele island in south-western Misool. A ridge has a coral slope on one side and a wall on the other, dropping to about 34 m, with black corals, multicoloured soft corals and gorgonians. Tuna, Napoleon wrasse, sweetlips and barracuda come in from open water, while pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefish, nudibranchs and shrimps live in the coral. Tides drive the conditions, and the current can be strong.
