Sardine Reef is an oval reef patch in open water north-east of Kri, rising from about 30 m to within a few metres of the surface. Its gentle slopes are packed with fusiliers, surgeonfish, snappers and butterflyfish. The baitfish draw barracuda, Spanish mackerel, giant trevally and sharks. Current ranges from mild to strong.
