Kec (MFP F-956)
A German Second World War landing transport (Marinefährprahm F 956), built in Trieste in 1944 and lost off Piran later that year – one centre says after a collision with another transport, another after an air attack. The roughly 45–50 m hull lies upside down at about 23–24 m, dug into the mud and tilted so that its port side is more open, and trained divers can enter through the long cargo hold. Propellers, shafts and weapon parts are still visible, conger eels and lobsters hide in the holes along the hull and schools of fish fill the interior. It counts among the more demanding dives in Slovenian waters.
depth: 18–24 m
