Sail Rock

Sail Rock (Hin Bai) is a lone granite pinnacle midway between Koh Tao and Koh Pha Ngan that breaks the surface and drops to about 40 m. Its steep walls are covered in soft corals, sponges, oysters and anemones, with white-eyed and yellowmargin morays in the crevices. Big schools of jacks, barracuda, batfish and mackerel circle it, and it is one of Thailand's most reliable whale-shark sites. The highlight is the vertical 'chimney', a swim-through entered at about 18 m with a window at 12 m and an exit near 6 m.

Tiefe: 5–40 m
