Koh Haa Lagoon

The lagoon is the sheltered pool between the central islets of the Koh Haa group, with a small white-sand beach and a shallow sandy bottom that suits first dives, training and snorkelling. Outside it the limestone walls are covered in soft coral and full of cracks where moray eels, stonefish, ghost pipefish and harlequin shrimp hide. Yellowtail barracuda patrol the area, and deeper channels to the north and south lead to more open water. It is often the first dive of a Koh Haa day and is also used for night dives.
