Hin Dot

Hin Dot, also called Chimney Rock, is a cluster of three steep pinnacles lined up north–south just outside Ton Sai Bay, the main harbour on the south side of Phi Phi Don. The main chimney drops to about 30 m with distinct ledges at roughly 15, 12 and 3 m, which makes it a natural multi-level dive. Big schools of snapper, fusiliers and jacks swarm the rock while trevally and barracuda hunt around them; purple and orange soft corals and tube corals cover the walls and zigzag clams the lower parts. Leopard sharks, nurse sharks and bearded scorpionfish are also reported.

depth: 3–30 m
