Hin Klang
Hin Klang ('Middle Rock') is a submerged reef about 2 km off Laem Tong at the northern end of Phi Phi Don, between the main island and the small islands to the north (Mosquito and Bamboo). The rock rises from around 25 m to within about 5 m of the surface, with soft corals and sea fans on its slopes. Schools of barracuda, trevally and fusiliers circle it, while the shallow top has hard corals, anemones, parrotfish and butterflyfish. Current can be strong, so it is often dived as a drift.
