Koh Bida Nai

Koh Bida Nai, the smaller Bida islet, is usually a quieter dive than its neighbour. Its northern and western walls drop to 20 m and more with fine coral, and at 8–10 m two parallel rocks form an open-topped swim-through full of light, fish and glassfish. Away from the island at about 15 m there are pinnacles and another swim-through where longfin batfish follow divers. Anemonefish are everywhere, banded sea kraits are common, hawksbill turtles and blacktip reef sharks are regulars, and ribbon eels and ornate ghost pipefish live in the rubble.

depth: 5–25 m
