Loh Samah Bay

Loh Samah Bay sits on the south side of Phi Phi Leh next to Maya Bay, and the dive circles a small cliff islet at its entrance – an easy full lap on one tank. The outer, southern wall reaches about 20 m and the inner, northern side about 8 m; on the east side a narrow 15 m channel lined with soft corals, sea whips and gorgonians is the highlight. Lionfish, scorpionfish, angelfish and parrotfish are resident, turtles feed on the bubble coral, and giant morays, cuttlefish and octopus are also reported. Calm conditions make it a favourite night and macro site.
