Lina
The British-built iron steamer Lina (1879) carried oil and wine from Puglia and coal back from Cardiff. On the night of 14 January 1914 it lost its way in thick fog in the Vela Vrata channel, ran aground near Cape Pečen at the north of Cres and sank quickly. The 70–80 m wreck lies on a slope from about 20–27 m down to 52–55 m; the funnel and cargo hold can be explored, and fishing nets hang in the mast.
