S-57 Wreck
S-57 was a German fast torpedo boat built in 1940 that served in the Adriatic from 1944. In August 1944, after an ambush by British boats between Korčula and Mljet, it caught fire and was scuttled off the steep south coast of Pelješac, about two nautical miles south of the Lirica islet. The 30 m wreck lies between 20 and 38 m and is described as the only preserved boat of its class.
