Heron Bommie (Heron Island)
Heron Bommie is Heron Island's signature site: six large coral heads on a sandy slope at 5–18 m just outside the harbour, famous for turtles, manta and eagle rays, reef sharks and cleaning-station activity. Heron Reef is a lagoonal platform reef with more than 30 dive sites about 15 minutes from the jetty. Position is an estimate west of the island's harbour.
