Kilsby Sinkhole (private land – CDAA Basic Cave rating / guided tours)
Kilsby Sinkhole is a deep, clear freshwater sinkhole on private Kilsby family land at Moorak; access is tightly controlled, and the CDAA lists it as Basic Cave rated. The landowner offers guided snorkelling, diving and sinkhole tours. A diver died there in 2010 after becoming entangled in a cable at 37 m, and two inexperienced divers died in 1969, so it deserves respect. Published sources give a total depth of roughly 60–65 m; guided dives stay much shallower. Visibility is reported as 30 m or more.
