Little Blue Lake (CDAA Deep Cavern / Basic Cave rating)
Little Blue Lake is a water-filled sinkhole near Mount Schank that is a popular swimming spot above water, but underwater it is for CDAA-rated cave divers (CDAA lists it as Basic Cave; Wikipedia says at least Deep Cavern grade). It is about 50 m across with ~8 m cliffs, reached by a metal stair and floating pontoon. Depth is around 36 m on average and over 42 m at maximum, varying with the water table. Visibility is normally poor, it is often green, silt and dumped rubbish are the main problems.
