Plate Coral (South West Solitary Island)
Plate Coral is an easy dive at the northern end of South West Solitary (Grouper) Island, known for abundant plating coral. A gentle coral slope leads into a shallow bay with a small rock at about 5 m that works well for a safety stop. It is a sheltered alternative when weather rules out South Solitary Island, and green turtles, anemonefish and nudibranchs are the typical sightings.
