Nepean Bay Inner East (Radar) (Marine National Park, boat only)

Port Phillip Heads Marine National Park (highly protected no-take zone: no fishing, no collecting). Nepean Bay Inner East (Radar) lies mid-way along the bay on the north side of Point Nepean, a shallow (1–5 m) reef site with leatherjackets, wrasse, groper, pike and sweep, and colourful nudibranchs hiding in the kelp. Water is clear and easy for snorkellers and scuba divers. It can only be reached by boat, because shore diving is prohibited at Point Nepean. Dive on the ebb, because the swell usually increases as the flood makes.
