Tinderbox Marine Reserve
Tinderbox Marine Reserve south of Hobart on the River Derwent coast is a small no-take area (no fishing) described by tourism listings as ideal for snorkellers and divers who do not want to go far from Hobart. Divers can see seahorses, octopus and sea stars; white paired poles on the shore mark the reserve boundaries. Car parks are at Tinderbox Beach and Pierson's Point, with a boat ramp at Tinderbox Beach. The coordinate is the reserve centroid (OSM), so approximate.
