Denton Holme wreck, Rottnest (protected)
Protected historic wreck (Historic Shipwrecks Act 1976 and the WA Maritime Archaeology Act): look and photograph, never touch, move or remove anything. The Denton Holme was an iron barque that ran aground on Transit Reef in 1890 while waiting for a pilot, almost on top of the earlier wreck of the Macedon. Her bow is the most prominent feature, in about 3–6 m of water. Part of the Rottnest Wreck Trail.
