Mira Flores wreck, Rottnest (protected)
Protected historic wreck (Historic Shipwrecks Act 1976 and the WA Maritime Archaeology Act): look and photograph, never touch, move or remove anything. The Mira Flores was an iron barque that struck Horseshoe Reef in 1886 and now lies on sand at 10–13 m (sources differ). The stern is the most intact section and the bow faces the shore.
