Muiron Islands (Ningaloo Marine Park)
Two uninhabited sand islands about 9–10 nautical miles off the tip of North West Cape, part of the Ningaloo Coast World Heritage area and the Muiron Islands Marine Management Area. Unlike the fringing reef, the island edges carry soft corals, gorgonians and sponges, with swim-through caves, turtles, sharks, plentiful fish and occasional manta rays. This is the tropical (Ningaloo) side of the region, reached only by boat from Exmouth.
