Klopeiner See – Strandbad Süd
The lake's dive base, Dive Center Klopeiner See, sits at Strandbad Süd on the south promenade. The base has placed objects to find – a medieval dugout canoe at 11 m, a Venus sculpture and a 'snack station' at 12 m, an 'office' at 14 m – and a wall right at the lido adds variety. Daylight reaches about 21 m, the 4 °C zone begins below the thermocline, and 48 m is reached quickly. Pike, wels catfish and crayfish live here.
