Längsee – Strandbad
A small, family-friendly lake near St. Georgen am Längsee with an easy entry from the main jetty of the lido. Underwater plants, big wels catfish, eels, crayfish, carp and sometimes huge pike live here; divers mention the piles of the jetty and boathouse, an old sign, a tyre and a small sunken fishing boat. Visibility ranges from 3 to 10 m and is best in the morning, before swimmers stir up the bottom.
