Erzberg – bányató / mine lagoon (Eisenerz)
A lagoon inside the working Erzberg iron-ore mine near Eisenerz, opened to experienced divers in 2026 as the 'Erzberg Underwater Adventure' run by the Alpenaquarium Grüblsee dive centre together with the Abenteuer Erzberg adventure park. The dives take place in the middle of the mining area with the Erzberg's stepped terraces as a backdrop; participant numbers are strictly limited. In autumn 2026 the dive centre runs its diving only at the Erzberg lagoon while its home lake, the Grüblsee, is drained.
