Neufelder See – Tauch-Sport-Vienna
The base opposite Neufeld/Leitha railway station is the classic Viennese training entry. From the shallow water beside the wooden jetty the bottom slopes to a training platform at 5 m, which is linked by lines to further platforms at 10 and 20 m; the deepest point in front of the base is 21.5 m. There is an underwater figure park, and the lake holds wels catfish, pike, carp, pumpkinseed, perch, rudd, tench and signal crayfish. Visibility can exceed 10 m, but in early summer carp often stir up the silt.
