Attersee – Unterwasserwald
An 'underwater forest' near Weyregg on the north-east shore: tree trunks lie criss-cross on the slope to about 18 m and make an atmospheric landscape. The top few metres can be murky, but visibility often opens up around the trees, especially in winter.
