Achensee – Hechenberg Nord
Hechenberg Nord is the Achensee's car-wreck dive: three VW Beetles lie one after the other along the slope. From the entry at the start of the climb to the Hechenberg you swim about three minutes south, descend to around 10 m for the first car, find the second about 20 m further at roughly 8 m, and the third a little deeper beyond. Because of the shallow depth the official description recommends it for beginners too.
